Our first bi-annual day trip of the year to Skegness for our members, friends and families sold out quickly and was a great success!

Fund raisers are both a fun and essential part of what we do…

Where possible, we try to provide an allocation of small grants for basic needs for our most vulnerable members. We recognise that these small acts of kindness can go a long way to helping our members cope with their day-to-day challenges.

Grant applications are considered by our trustees on individual merit. The applicant’s details are confidential will be known only to the Trustees of Leicestershire Kidney Patients Association. Items to assist with dialysis such as drip stands are to be supported by a renal doctor or nurse. Other types of grant applications must come with an endorsement either from the renal social worker, or a renal nurse.

We are always looking for new volunteers to join the LKPA, if you have a little spare time to help us keep the LKPA going, then please get in contact with us.
