Social contact is important for mental health and wellbeing, we hold events throughout the year for patients and their family members why not come along and join us.
We try to arrange a variety of events to suit different tastes and interests.
SKEGNESS COACH TRIP 2026
Sunday 7th June 2026
Our first bi-annual day trip of the year to Skegness for our members, friends and families sold out quickly and was a great success!
The comfortable modern Roberts coach picked us up at the Leicester General Hospital @8AM for a great day out at the seaside.
Claire had booked the weather for this events, which was amazing!
Special thanks go out to all the volunteers for the LKPA for their efforts on the day and making the event possible.
Christmas Meal 2025

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Christmas meal and helped make it such a special occasion. It was a joy to come together and share festive cheer, good food, and great company.
This year was also a bittersweet one, as it marked our final Christmas meal at the Hilton Hotel. We are incredibly grateful to the Hilton team for looking after us so well over many years — their hospitality has meant so much to us.
Thank you to all our guests, volunteers, and supporters for helping us make a real difference in our community. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
SKEGNESS COACH TRIP ‘24/‘25

Our bi-annual and ever popular Skegness day trip for our members, friends and families.
Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are very reasonably priced. Renal patients will get refunded on the day.
Sun Screen was essential as Claire always books the weather for these events, amazing!
