Social contact is important for mental health and wellbeing, we hold events throughout the year for patients and their family members why not come along and join us.

Christmas Meal 2025

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Christmas meal and helped make it such a special occasion. It was a joy to come together and share festive cheer, good food, and great company.

LKPA Aims and Main Activities

The LKPA aims to assist its members through provision of support and guidance via telephone, email, and our website; allocation of small grants for basic needs; helping to organise educational sessions; organising social events and outings (recognising that some LKPA members are unable to drive, may feel isolated or anxious about being in company/travelling because of the restrictions that their condition puts upon them).

In most cases kidney disease will directly impact the rest of a person’s life. This can take its toll both physically and emotionally, inevitably individuals, their families and carers may need the support of charities such as the LKPA, which is run entirely by volunteers.

Money raised is used to provide welfare assistance for patients, member events and small grants.
