If you missed our popular Skegness coach trip in May, don’t worry, we are arranging another visit on Sunday 8th September 2024!
Departs: Leicester General Hospital @08:00 (Free Parking)
Returns: Leaving Skegness @17:00
Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the bargain price of just £15 per person. Renal patients will get refunded on the day.
LKPA Aims and Main Activities
The LKPA aims to assist its members through provision of support and guidance via telephone, email, and our website; allocation of small grants for basic needs; helping to organise educational sessions; organising social events and outings (recognising that some LKPA members are unable to drive, may feel isolated or anxious about being in company/travelling because of the restrictions that their condition puts upon them).

In most cases kidney disease will directly impact the rest of a person’s life. This can take its toll both physically and emotionally, inevitably individuals, their families and carers may need the support of charities such as the LKPA, which is run entirely by volunteers.
Money raised is used to provide welfare assistance for patients, member events and small grants.
